Office Manager

We are looking for an Office Manager to join Euro London Appointments, an award-winning multilingual recruitment consultancy!

The office is based in the heart of London, just a 2-minute walk from Blackfriars Station where you can see the beautiful views of the London Eye and Victoria Embankment.

About the Role:
You will:
*be working as part of the internal support team and will be based on the front desk working closely with the office administrator who will report directly in to you and you will report to the Senior Manager of the department.
*use a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases, to ensure the efficient running of the office
*manage online and paper filing systems
*develop and implement new administrative systems, such as record management
*record office expenditure and petty cash
*1st line IT support alongside the IT Manager
*assist in the organisation of the office layout and maintain supplies of stationery and equipment
*day to day management of the office administrator including regular 1:1 meetings and performance management with the support of your line manager
*oversee the on-boarding of new staff, sometimes including training and induction
*completing extensive referencing and background checks for successful candidates
*assist the Director with ad hoc projects and reports as and when required
*respond to candidate and client enquiries
*2nd point of contact for front of house duties such as welcoming visitors and taking copies of relevant documentation
*review and update health and safety policies and ensure they're observed
*arrange regular testing for electrical equipment and safety devices

The Ideal Candidate:
*An approachable team player - This company has a strong team work ethic across all departments and the Office Manager must be available to support staff at all levels and remain calm in challenging situations
*Confident - you will be meeting a lot of candidates and clients face to face
*Experience in Office Management or Office Administration, ideally in a sales environment
*Previous experience of managing another person or a small team
*Deadline driven
