This role involves a lot of contact over the phone as you will be using your excellent language and communication skills to sell tickets to a conference the client will be holding in March. So a little more information about the role: *Contacting old and excising clients and selling them tickets to the conference * Responding to clients questions about the conference via email and telephone * Increasing new business through research *Well established leading global conference based in Central London *Night shift hours as you will be contacting Japan starting at midnight until 8am *It is a 5 month long fixed term contract For this position you would ideally need to be: *Fluent to a native level in: Japanese *Fluent level of English *Fantastic communication skills * Strong negotiation skills * Sales Driven *Keen to use language skills in a working and professional environment
The Localization Director should have a passion for and lots of experience within the translation industry. My client is renowned as a gaming industry giant, and is looking to onboard a fluent Japanese speaking Localization Director who is familiar with leading a team of Loc Testers & Coordinators. Responsibilities Your primary role will be to direct the localization team in London and also to liaise with the other translation teams Europe-wide: *Growing & cultivating relationships with repeat clients *Confidently clarifying project details with customers and reporting these effectively back to the localization team. *Managing the budget for the localization team and making sure all resources are allocated efficiently *Delegating and monitoring tasks within the project to the team and ensuring each individual's personal growth and development. Also ensuring that the produced content is of a high quality.
