Our client is a well-established international leader in the provision of wireless, IoT solutions focusing on safety and security to the construction industry.

They are looking to further develop their presence on the French market, by recruiting a Business Development Executive, focused on prospecting new accounts and selling their solutions to clients in the construction sector (both SMB and Key Accounts), in Paris.

Candidates must have experience of selling to clients in the construction sector / on building sites in France and speak French to native standard.

 

Responsibilities:

• Grow the French business, specifically focusing on the construction vertical.

• Cold calling to arrange personal meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business on construction site level / on company head office level.

• Understand client needs and present tailored solutions to drive sales.

• Work collaboratively with the export sales team to deliver the sales targets and develop the growth of the territory / region.

• Achieve sales targets. Develop and manage budgets & forecasts in order to optimise profit & manage a healthy cashflow. Establish key account/partner targets and other relevant KPIs.

• Develop and drive a strategy of sustainable sales growth across both hardware and digital sales in the French construction sector.

• Continuously improve levels of customer excellence by developing the French business processes and managing key partners within the French market. Find and onboard new partners as required.

• Actively contribute to and influence regulatory/compliance standards, to grow the market for your solutions. Develop strategic relationships with key market stakeholders.

• Propose and establish new routes to market, including rental, subscription, aftermarket etc.

• Proactively represent the ‘voice of the customer’, support product management and marketing in the ideation and delivery of new products, services and marketing initiatives.

 

Requirements:

• French to native standard with proficiency in English.

• Proven track record in B2B sales within the French construction sector.

• Sales experience selling to large tier 1 French construction companies such as Vinci, Bouygues, Eiffiage.

• Experience of selling different business models (sales, rental, subscription etc.)

• Digital / technology sales experience in either product, software or solutions.

• Experience in cold calling and field market development.

• Hunter sales mindset with ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.

• Valid driver's license.

Salary: 45-50K€ + 25K€ commission
