About the role

Our client is looking for a People Services Advisor on a 12 month contract (covering maternity leave).

You will join the European People Services Advisory Team and will provide administrative support on a wide range of People activities for the French entity. You will work closely with HR colleagues in France and will report into the People Services Manager in the UK. You must be fluent in both French and English.

Candidates must live within a commutable distance of Serris, 77. RER A Val d'Europe/Serris-Montévrain.

 

Key responsibilities

Manage administrative tasks within the recruitment process
Manage administrative tasks within the on-boarding process, including equipment set-up, people systems maintenance, liaising with new joiners and line managers, payroll and benefits set up

Take full ownership and responsibility of People administrative and transactional services including:

  • Monthly payroll input, benefits & pensions administration, involving third-party suppliers and government bodies
  • Provide ad-hoc Learning & Development administration
  • End-to-end systems and data maintenance administration
  • Employee relations administration
  • Compensation management administration
  • People experience and recognition administration

 

Prepare and issue all relevant correspondence to employees (e.g. contracts, change of role, promotions, references, mortgage letters, employee relations matters, etc.)

Manage administrative tasks within the leavers process

Pro-actively build, maintain and refresh French employment law knowledge

Strive to deliver a 5-star experience service to stakeholders at all levels (internal, external, face-to-face, via telephone, via case management tool, via email, etc.)

Analyse and manage complex employee and line manager requests. Advise on and propose best practice solutions

Promote and nurture effective communication and working relationships with all People Directors, People Business Partners, Centres of Excellence, and People Services Subject Matter Experts

 

About You

  • Experience in generalist People Services / HR, Payroll, Benefits administration
  • Keen interest in working in the People / HR, Payroll, Benefits fields
  • Knowledge of French employment law is an advantage
  • Process driven. Comfortable in a highly administrative role
  • French to native / bilingual standard with fluency in English

 

Salary: up to 46K€ + benefits

 

Hybrid working policy: 3-4 days in the office per week
