Our client is an international software company providing a social media management platform to businesses and agencies. Due to growth in the DACH region, they are now expanding and recruiting an Account Manager for the DACH region to join their growing team in Berlin.  If you are a passionate account manager, this could be the role for you!


Account Manager – Social Media Software

Permanent Position / Berlin


Your new duties and responsibilities

As the new Account Manager, it will be your responsibility to increase revenue within the existing client base. You will be developing and cultivation the relationships with these accounts and identifying new business potential within them. This will include renewals, up-selling and cross-selling.

Other day-to-day duties will include:

  • Responsible for the management and growth of the existing clients 
  • Renewals, up-sell and cross sell and find new business opportunities within your accounts 
  • Be the point of contact for your assigned accounts
  • Responsible for the forecasting 
  • Maintain ownership of your accounts from initial on-boarding through negotiation of renewals
  • Be an efficient expert on the company’s products
  • Work towards KPIs and targets
  • Have a consultative sales approach
  • Work closely with the customer success team to retain the portfolio of clients


Your profile

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Ideally University degree in Business or an equivalent education
  • Experience in a similar tech/ software sales/ account management role
  • Ideally have experience and interest in social media and/ or digital marketing
  • Experience in the managing the whole sales cycle
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Experience in holding presentations to clients
  • Results and target driven
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent German and good English
