Our client, a leading global healthcare diagnostics organisation , is currently looking for a Solution Specialist to playing a crucial role in their multilingual and client-focused team of Life Sciences experts based near Brussels.
You will be a trusted partner for renowned international healthcare customers who benefit from the cutting-edge diagnostics technologies our client offers across several medical specialities.
Acting as an ambassador for the business you will be decisive in assessing their needs, guiding them into a phone fix or taking more in-depth remedial action to troubleshoot issues arising on the technology.

*You will own a solution to the challenge presented and engage with the relevant expertise and internal stakeholders when you require additional support.
*You'll convey confidence and trust in your contact with clients, ensuring they feel listened to, supported and engaged with until the resolution is found to the issue that has arisen.
*You'll keep clients and colleagues proactively updated until a solution is found. Your interpersonal and multilingual skills will be vital in maintaining openness, trust and confidence with customers and peers alike.
*You'll need an eye for detail in ensuring that admin documentation is kept up to date and detailed so colleagues can use it in future for resolving recurrent issues.
*You'll demonstrate outstanding customer, field and commercial awareness and understanding in solving technical issues.
*You'll be trained on several diagnostics product lines, having the opportunity to gain world-class technology expertise and develop your career learning new product lines when necessary.
*You'll ensure adherence to compliance , performing troubleshooting and root cause analysis on advanced products and own the troubleshooting and problem resolution process.
Knowledge , skills and experience required
*A degree in a Life Sciences discipline( Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical engineering) is highly advantageous but not essential if professional experience working with scientific /healthcare /medical diagnostics technologies has been acquired in previous experiences, combined with strong client-facing experience.
*Fluent verbal and written French and Dutch/Flemish as well as English ( or a very advanced level for one of the languages , that you wish to improve) is required for the position, to work with international clients. A high level of Spanish in addition to these languages would be beneficial.
*Ability to effectively engage with clients ( internal and external).
*Pro-active and solutions oriented approach.
*Adaptability in a fast-growing and changing environment.
*Capacity to develop analytical skills.
*Able to work independently as well as within a welcoming medium sized team of 9 Life Sciences Technical specialists.
*Good at adapting to change.
*A hands-on approach to problem solving and strong analytical skills.
*Able to work 4 days a week from our client's office close to Brussels, with 1 day working from home. There may be a transition to 5 days from the office in the New Year.
