Inside Sales Consultant

Our client is an international technology company with focus on LED lights and other visual signalling lights.  With a presence around the world and more than a 1.000 employees globally, they are now growing their still relatively small team in Germany.

Having just moved their European head office to Düsseldorf, they are currently recruiting a new Inside Sales Consultant to join their sales team and deal with clients within the DACH region.


Inside Sales Consultant - DACH (m/f/d)

Permanent position, Düsseldorf


Your new duties and responsibilities

The new Inside Sales Consultant (m/f/d), you will be an integral part of the DACH sales team. It will be your responsibility to manage the relationship to existing clients and distributors, whilst also supporting with the new business development.

Other day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Pro-actively manage the existing accounts, including end-clients and distributors
  • Contact incoming leads and understand the clients interest and needs
  • Consult the client on best product fit
  • Be part of the whole sales process including: offer, negotiate and close new and existing business
  • Work closely with the senior sales managers on the different opportunities
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with both current and potential clients
  • Offer technical support to clients


Your Profile:

  • Technical or Business degree or related studies
  • First experience in a similar inside sales, customer support, sales support role 
  • Technical interest or experience is of advantage 
  • A fluent command of both German and English is necessary for this position
  • Independent worker
  • Good experience and knowledge in MS Office
