Do you have a passion for the beauty industry or in general for the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)/ Konsumgüter industry? Then I may have the perfect role for you. 

I've been assigned to look for a Business Development Manager for a global market intelligence company who specialise in the FMCG industry. The FMCG industry is an innovative and competititve market so brands such as MAC and Clinique have to always be on top of of the latest market trends in order to remain competitive in the market. Companies such as this market intelligence company, provide an avenue for companies like these to receive market research and analysis and play a crucial role in ensuring that product development and marketing strategies are up to date. 

 

Business Development Manager- Beauty and Personal Care and FMCG industry

 

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Growing the client base across the DACH region, hunter based role. You will do this through fairs and exhibitions, e-mail campaigns, LinkedIn campaigns and cold calling or leveraging your network in the industry
  • Travelling to meet clients in the Beauty and Personal Care industry on site, field sales (50% travel expected)
  • Providing on-site advisory services to clients
  • Meeting and exceeding realisitic sales targets
  • Staying on top of the latest developments in the Food & Drinks/ Beauty & Personal Care and FMCG industry

Your qualifications:

  • Some B2B sales/ new business development experience, depending on your experience level, salaries will differ. But in general, I am open to looking at candidates with a minimum of 1 year B2B sales experience and above. This does not imply that this job is a entry level job but I am indeed looking across a range of experiences. 
  • An interest in the Food & Drinks/ Beauty & Personal Care and FMCG or market intelligence industry either through professional experience in the industry or through a general passion for such products. You don't necessarily have to come from the industry- I am open to looking at a vast range of backgrounds!
  • Experience working with sales goals and targets
  • Clean driving license
  • Business fluent in German and English

 

You will be compensated with a generous, uncapped commission package on top of an impressive fixed salary. In other words, your success will be dependent on your hard work. You will also be working in an international-oriented team, working with offices across Europe with a lot of room to grow and develop within the organisation and the opportunity to work with big players in the Beauty and Personal Care industry.
