Sales & Account Representative - Travel and Tourism

I am currently looking for a sales focused individual who thrives on meeting new people, travelling and presenting an airline product to the travel and tourism industry across Germany.

As a Sales Account Representative for this airline you will be tasked with contacting existing Travel Agents and Tour Operators in order to ensure full uptake of routes and seating.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and maximising repeat business.
  • Conduct ongoing market research in order to identify emerging trends, opportunities and potential areas for business growth.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team in order to develop effective sales strategies, campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status and market feedback to the management team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a sales role, ideally 1 to 2 years, preferably gained within the hospitality or tourism industry.
  • If you have previous experience in airline sales that would be ideal, but reservations or event sales within a hotel are also really interesting
  • If not the relevant Tourism experience, some sales focus and the right attitude to learn and develop in an account manager role are also a big factor.
  • You enjoy meeting people and are not afraid to present a product at road shows, events and on a one to one basis.
  • Fluency in both English and German is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships is really important.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly is essential.

 

This role is office based in Frankfurt city centre with regular travel.
