Account Executive DACH

Are you a fluent German speaker with solid IT sales experience looking take your career to the next step? I have a fantastic opportunity in cyber security for you!

This company deliver cloud-based threat detection and proactive security analytics that provide up-to-date spam classifications, URL categorisation and malware detection services. The Account Executive will be solely responsible for establishing its presence and driving sales activities in the DACH region. You will be expected to sell new end-user accounts to Small to Medium-Sized Businesses (SMB) and Small to Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME).

Responsibilities:

*Account planning, territory mapping and opportunity management
*Lead generation, account prospecting, sales funnel management
*Manage customer relationships through all phases of the sales cycle
*Provide accurate forecasting and meet quarterly and annual booking targets
*Negotiate favourable pricing and business terms with SMB/SME by selling value and ROI through strong customer relationships
*Leverage sales engineering and technology services resources
*Use our sales methodology and processes effectively
*Engage both international and domestic teams to expand deal size and value to the customer
*Be a Team Player; the Account Executive will understand that there is a two-way flow of relevant and timely information and will work as part of a team for the most efficient use and deployment of resources
*Provide timely and impactful input to cross-functional members of the organisation (Product Management and Marketing organisations specifically)

Requirements:

*3-5 years of direct sales, enterprise sales and/or channel sales experience with SMB/SME in the Western Europe market
*Relevant software industry experience in internet security, IT systems, and/or cloud infrastructure technology
*Have the ability to engage and build relationships with C-Level executives and Product Management teams
*Verifiable and consistent overachievement of quarterly and annual sales targets resulting in the close of SaaS/software licensing/services deals
*Knowledge of prospects and customers in the defined territory/market
*Strong professional presence and discipline
*Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills
*Thrives in dynamic global eco-system
*Extensive use of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
*Fluent to a native level German language is required
