Business Development Manager - UK - Watford (hybrid role ) £40K-£50K basic 20% bonus
We have an exciting new role for one of our international clients. This well establised organisation with HQ in Vancouver, Canada is looking for a proven Business Development Manager to manage the UK side of the business. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be working for a global leader within the premium apparel industry currently experiencing expansion within their UK and European markets.
Your primary objective is to increase sales and grow market share in the UK through regular
product knowledge meetings with partners, supporting the distributor channel sales teams and by forging strong relationships with clients all over the UK.
Some of your responsibilities will include the following:
A seasoned sales professional with a hunter mentality. You are skilled at generating
your own leads through cold calling, industry research, networking, and driving your territory. This is not a farming role, and you will spend most of your time growing and establishing new accounts.
A confident seller, presenting and building value into higher end, premium products
You enjoy forging lasting relationships and creating a bond and rapport with clients. Understanding the industry and it's benefits is key to building strong relationships
Excellent time management skills in order to create results.
Natural customer service skills, that you will provide to new and existing clients in line with the organisations' culture and approach to all of their customers and accounts.
You are a driven self starter and hold yourself to account through tracking metrics and KPI's.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Sales/Business Development, ideally from the Apparel industry, or alternatively dealing with Premium products in previous roles. Selling products that add value to companies is key. Your English spoken and written will be near native/bilingual and you will be willing to travel as and when required to clients/trade shows/Europe.
