Mandarin speaking Business Development Manager-EdTech

Our client, a fast-growing education technology company based in London, is looking for a Mandarin speaking Business Development Manager. The company sells both summative and formative assessment software for reading, maths and early learning to primary and secondary schools.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for the development of the Chinese market to generate new business from existing and non-existing customer database to ensure the growth of the company's products across international schools worldwide.

Responsibilities include:
*Meet and exceed targets and KPIs as set by your line manager
*following up on all inquiries; inbound, call and web inquiries
*Identify potential new and emerging opportunities within the international schools' market
*Present new products and services at every opportunity to generate new business
*Build on customer relationships and create referrals from existing customers base
*Win and recapture customers lost from the CRM database
*Deliver sales presentations, both face-to-face and virtually to demonstrate the products can effectively improve student levels of attainment
*Occasional attendance at exhibitions and conferences
*Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:
*Preferably a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a strong sales environment (high-value sales)
*Experience of account management
*Experience of outbound calling and consultative selling
*Excellent interpersonal, communication skills
*Strong negotiation skills
*Excellent time management and organization skills
*Competent computer skills / knowledgeable in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
*International market knowledge and selling to international markets
*Fluent in English and Mandarin in both oral and written

  • We are currently looking for a fluent Portuguese (Brazilian) and Spanish speaker (both languages MUST be fully fluent) for our client who is an international fast growing company located in Canary Wharf. The company sells assessment software to primary and secondary schools and you would contribute on daily basis to expanding the business. Daily duties: * Supporting sales and marketing team. * Using phone and email to generate qualified leads and hit your targets. * Transfering qualified opportunities to the appropriate Regional Account Managers in a timely manner. * Using CRM accurately and consistently for proper tracking and follow-ups. * Responding to live requests. * Spending 70% - 80% of the time on the phone. The suitable candidate: Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish and English language up to native level (This is a MUST). Past sales experience.
