Market Analyst - German Market

Markets move fast. in this role, you'll be helping German businesses make decisions with daily news; digestible, daily and data-driven insights presented with precision.

A global, specialist B2B media powerhouse is offering the opportunity to develop your career in journalism to a curious, inquisitive person with a passion for learning and plenty of persistence. You'll write daily reports based on live market data and key insights from experts; you'll talk to your network of sources and key industry thought leaders and analyse daily market movements against the political and economic backdrop. If you have experience or educational background in journalism, that'd be useful but not essential if you can demonstrate the natural capabilities and hunger for consuming, understanding and articulating knowledge (studies in economics, politics, history, language - where that natural desire to question is essential).

The other essential is outstanding written and spoken German (a native level of fluency as there's no room for inaccuracy despite the tight deadlines for daily publication) and English.

You'll get the autonomy to be trained and mentored by a great team, immediate exposure to experts, a fast track to create and be published, influence a big audience daily and regular opportunities to travel, present and grow your network. Rewards are good too with a starting salary of 30-35k and a comprehensive package of benefits.

Please do get in touch asap to discuss this further.
