We are currently recruiting for an exceptional German speaking Sales Executive on behalf of our client, who is the leading international exhibition/trade fair organiser and publisher of B2B events, within technical sectors, engineering and transport. The ideal candidate will be a fluent German and English speaker. This is an exciting and successful company to work for. Located in St Albans, you will enjoy working in a friendly and multilingual environment in the town that is just half an hour train commute from central London. Duties include: Immerse yourself in a range of industry sectors and secure new business. Generate new leads, sell exhibition space to new clients and ensure sales targets are achieved. Gain market knowledge of your sector to understand your clients and their needs. Ensure a great understanding of market developments, whilst identifying and researching new growth area for sales. Occasional travel to industry trade shows and client events. The ideal candidate: English and German language skills up to a native level. Highly motivated with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with excellent negotiation skills.
