Operations Executive - Conferences and Exhibitions

I am currently working with a leading event management company specializing in organizing conferences and exhibitions for a diverse range of industries. With a strong reputation for delivering exceptional events, as they continue to expand, they're seeking a talented and experienced Operations Executive to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

As an Operations Executive, you will play a crucial role in the successful planning and execution of conferences and exhibitions. You will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of event operations, ensuring that all logistical and technical requirements are met to deliver seamless and memorable events. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.


Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the event management team to develop comprehensive event plans and timelines

- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless execution of event logistics, including venue setup, audio-visual requirements, and technical support

- Manage event budgets and provide regular reports on expenditure

- Liaise with exhibitors and sponsors to ensure their requirements are met and provide exceptional customer service throughout the event

- Oversee event registration processes, including attendee management, badge printing, and on-site registration support

- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional activities to maximize event attendance

- Conduct post-event evaluations and provide recommendations for future improvements

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to enhance event operations



Requirements:

- 1-2 years of experience in conference and exhibition operations, preferably within the events industry

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues

- Proficient in using event management software and tools

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude

- Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as required for event setup and execution
