Business Development Manager - Market Research

Our client is a multinational SaaS consumer insights platform, used by world’s most successful insights companies (market research, media agencies, consultancies).

They are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to sell their platform to market research companies on the French market. Candidates must have strong knowledge in the field of market research in France and speak fluent French and English.

 

The role can be based remotely anywhere in France.

 

As a Business Development Manager, you will identify, prospect and secure business opportunities and new revenue growth. You will be responsible for developing a prospect pipeline and for demonstrating products to potential clients. Success will come with converting the pipeline to revenue-generating clients, working with Customer Success for a quick, quality onboarding, and frequently visiting prospects and existing clients to continually grow your territory. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct exploratory business development calls in France to identify target customers, business priorities, key challenges, and product/market fit.
  • Schedule and complete online and/or face to face calls with decision-makers at target accounts.
  • Perform high quality product demonstrations that match and position the solution to the prospect's articulated needs.
  • Own and manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business
  • Present solutions aligned to the prospect's needs
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales revenue targets
  • Ensure client retention and high satisfaction scores through relationship development

 

Requirements:

  • New business development experience in the market research / consumer insights sector
  • A proven record of prior success in a sales role as a hunter
  • French to native standard with fluent English
  • You are self-motivated, self-managed, proactive, and are driven to improve and succeed
  • Excellent executive presence with strong written and verbal communication skills

 

Salary: 50-60K€ basic + 30-40K€ commission
