I am recruiting on behalf of a Global Data Provider who are currently expanding their reach in Europe. They are currently developing their market share in the German speaking region and are looking for a Sales Manager to be part of that growth.
Sales Manager – Data Services- Frankfurt Based
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Sales Manager your role will be to further develop the German speaking market through developing both new and existing relationships throughout the region . The target market is extremely broad in this highly data and analytics driven environment.
As a Sales driven individual you will
- Develop relevant client and industry relationships in order to build and manage a pipeline
- Research each target organization and build a business case for developing business.
- Building relationships with key accounts in order to maintain subscription and licence services.
- Cold and warm calling clients in order to further develop business
- Regular face to face meetings with client
- Consulting the client on how information can be best utilised
You will have a proven track record in Business Development with hunter mentality
• Experience of selling at a senior level and mapping business requirements across an organization
• Ability to successfully turn cold called prospects into solid business contacts
• An understanding of the information industry and previous experience selling licence renewals
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines
• Experience of doing business in the Germany speaking region
• Experience of coordinating and completing RFP’s and presenting to senior decision makers
· Fluent German and English is essential
