Workday Technical Lead

Workday Technical Lead – Project until March 2023
Germany (ideally Frankfurt area but open to other locations within Germany)
Fluent German & English required

The initial Workday project has been implemented and now my client are moving on to phase two of the project which entails a two-year project phase of introducing Learning, Talent, Performance, Advanced Compensation and Recruiting across the CE Region.

In CE they will unite a total of eight countries and it is necessary to coordinate the different processes, data processing, topics and challenges of these regions. This also includes the coordination and moderation of the individual stakeholders and project teams.

Supporting the linking of this programme with other local and regional activities to ensure connection and alignment within and outside HR is one of the main challenges of this position.

In this role:

The Regional Workday and Technology Lead will be the first point of contact for all data/Workday related activities for the region. 

They will help support the initiative of the programme through assisting the regional teams with articulating their regional requirements while fostering a globally consistent mindset for design and implementation activities.  The duties include the following:

  • Act as first point of contact for in-country resources for programme-related activities
  • Identify alignment opportunities and support change initiatives associated with Workday and Tech design
  • Coordinate and escalate outstanding issues and questions and responses between region/functional area and programme team
  • Consolidate and coordinate regional responses for workbooks and design, on time and with accuracy – maintain proper version control
  • Participate in relevant design and playback sessions, supporting the programmes global design principles
  • Support Testing, help coordinate testing resources and test activities
  • Oversee and support Workday and technology related go live activities that are regional specific
  • Act as a resource for gathering legal requirements to support the data retention policy
  • Identify and make programme aware of regional GTI or HR activities outside of programme that require programme insight or involvement
  • Where applicable, support data conversion activities such as data extraction/clean up and translation.

The Requirements:  
To be successful in this role you should have a very fluent level of German and English. Further experience should include:

• Experience in HRIS, HRIS projects

• HR Analyst; Technology Analyst

• HR Transformation

• WorkDay; WorKDay Integration/Implementation

• Process and system implementation
