Account Executive

Our client, a global ecommerce marketplace operating in over 40 countries across the world, is looking to strengthen its team in Germany. They are recruiting an Account Executive to work alongside and support the Sales Manager DACH & Southern Europe. The role is offered as 100% remote, meaning you can be based from a home-office anywhere in Germany. If you are a passionate sales candidate, this could be the role for you!

 

Account Executive – DACH (m/f/d) – Ecommerce

Permanent Position/ 100% remote in Germany

 

The Challenge

As the new Account Executive for the DACH region you will work closely together with the Sales Manager for DACH & Southern Europe. It will be your responsibility to help acquire new companies/ sellers that wish to use the e-commerce platform to sell their goods. You will be in charge of the whole sales process from start to closing. This includes calling clients, holding presentations to the client, consulting the client, understanding their needs, offering them a solution, negotiating the offer and getting the deal closed. You will be provided with warm leads from the lead generation team.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Proactively identify opportunities and contacts with new clients
  • Hold online presentations to clients
  • Actively build and maintain your own pipeline
  • Work towards KPIs and targets
  • Have a consultative sales approach

 

The right candidate

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Ideally University degree in Business or an equivalent education
  • Experience in a similar tech/ software / ecommerce sales role
  • Experience in the managing the whole sales cycle from first call to closing the deal
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Experience in holding presentations to clients
  • Results and target driven
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent German and good English
