We are partnering with an international paper packing company and recruiting a new Account Manager for the German market. With a small team on the German market already, they are now looking to expand further. The role is home-office based, full time and is a permanent contract.  If you are a passionate B2B sales candidate, this could be the role for you!

   

Account Manager - DE (m/f/d) – Packaging

Your new duties and responsibilities

As the new Account Manager, it will be your responsibility to generate business and sales through acquiring new customers and clients. Your clients will range from small to medium-size companies to large multinationals coming from different industries such as food and other household items. The end products can mainly be found at the end of their commercial life on supermarket shelves.  

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Proactively identify opportunities and contacts with new clients
  • Identify and establish long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders
  • Consult and meet with the clients to discuss their needs
  • Planning and executing the sales strategy for your region
  • Build a portfolio of satisfied clients
  • Have a consultative sales approach

 

Your profile

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar B2B sales role
  • Ideally have experience and interest in packaging, paper and/ or supermarket products
  • Experience in managing the whole sales cycle from first contact to closing the deal
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience in holding presentations to clients
  • Results and target driven
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent German and good English
