Our client, a leading international law firm advising public and private companies, financial institutions and governmental organisations, is looking for an experienced, English-speaking Business Development & Marketing Advisor to join its office in the heart of Paris.
You will join the Business Development & Marketing department in a demanding, international environment, reporting to the Global Business Development Lead for the LAI practice and working as part of an international LAI-focused BDM team.
You will lead Business Development and Marketing activities for the Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations (LAI) practice in Paris, while also acting as a key point of contact for Antitrust & Foreign Investment and IP-TMT, working closely with partners and lawyers to deliver strategies aligned with global priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the LAI BD strategy, linking local and global initiatives to drive growth
- Develop and grow key LAI client relationships through strategic account support, tailored client touchpoints and effective CRM coordination
- Support and deliver high-quality LAI pitches and RFPs, from tailored materials to post-pitch follow-up and reporting
- Respond proactively to emerging LAI market and client opportunities through tailored materials and cross-practice collaboration
- Enhance the firm’s LAI market profile through high-quality legal directory submissions, awards and league table reporting
- Deliver high-quality LAI BDM collateral by ensuring accurate, client-focused materials and supporting aligned marketing campaigns and events
- Continuously develop LAI expertise and BD capabilities through learning, training and self-improvement
- Foster strong collaboration and clear communication across global LAI BD, sector and client teams to deliver consistent, high-quality execution
Profile
- Previous experience in Business Development or Marketing within a professional services environment (law firm, audit firm, consulting, business advisory, etc.)
- Bilingual French / English
- Strong client-focused mindset and excellent written and spoken English
Salary & Benefits
- Up to €72,000 (13 months), depending on profile and experience
- Discretionary bonus up to 20%, based on performance
