Senior Advisor - Accounting & Tax (International Law Firm - Paris)

An international business law firm, recognized for its expertise in advising public and private companies, financial institutions, and governmental organizations, is seeking a Senior Advisor – Accounting & Tax to join its centrally located Paris office.

This position is ideal for professionals with strong experience in accounting, tax and social compliance within an international company operating under a partnership structure such as a law firm, audit firm, professional services firm or similar environment.

As a key member of a dynamic seven-person Finance team, you will report directly to the Finance Director while working closely with partners and international Finance teams across Europe.

Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity of accounting operations, overseeing partnership tax matters, and maintaining full compliance with French and international standards within a structured and demanding environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage partner tax calculations, annual filings and related tax matters.
• Supervise general accounting and accounts payable activities.
• Oversee monthly and annual closings under IFRS and French GAAP and liaise with auditors.
• Handle social declarations and URSSAF matters in coordination with external advisors.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax and internal policies.

 Profile :

• Significant experience in accounting and tax within the professional services sector (law firm, audit, consulting, etc.)
• Technical knowledge of IFRS and French GAAP
• Proficiency in Excel
• Fluent French/English

Salary & Benefits :

• Salary up to €70,000 per annum, depending on experience and profile
