Account Manager

Our client is an international business operating at the crossroads of AI, data analytics and maritime expertise, helping ocean industries improve efficiency, strengthen compliance and support more sustainable operations.

They are currently looking to hire an Account Manager to join their Sales team.

Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this is a strategic commercial role focused on managing and growing client relationships after onboarding. It is well suited to someone who knows how to build trust over time, navigate complex stakeholder environments and identify long-term growth opportunities within existing accounts.

In this role, you will take ownership of client relationships once the onboarding phase has been completed. You will be responsible for supporting retention, leading renewals, identifying expansion opportunities and ensuring strong coordination between clients and internal teams.

You will work with a broad range of stakeholders, both internally and externally, and will play an important part in maintaining account momentum, visibility and long-term commercial value throughout the client lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the main commercial point of contact for clients following onboarding
  • Develop long-term account strategies to support retention, growth and overall account development
  • Lead renewal activity, monitor account health and proactively address potential risks
  • Identify additional commercial opportunities by understanding client needs and connecting them with relevant solutions
  • Work closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to ensure alignment, visibility and consistent execution

Profile

  • Proven experience in Account Management, Customer Success or other long-cycle commercial roles within offshore, maritime, energy, environmental or similarly regulated sectors
  • Strong background in managing complex client relationships in technical or regulated environments
  • Comfortable handling renewals, pricing discussions and negotiations
  • Able to build credibility with a range of stakeholders, including operational, technical and HSE contacts
  • Strong commercial judgement combined with a structured, relationship-led approach
  • Proven ability to support renewals, account growth and long-term client ownership

Salary & Benefits

  • Base salary up to €80,000 depending on experience
  • 15% OTE performance-based bonus
