A leading global full-service business law firm is seeking a&nbsp;KYC/AML Analyst&nbsp;to join its&nbsp;Brussels office, ideally positioned at the heart of the European Union&rsquo;s political and regulatory landscape.
You'll be part of a team of six analysts of the Compliance team across Europe and the Middle East, you will report to the Senior Regional Manager and assist partners and fee-earners in the Brussels office.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Conduct client due diligence (CDD) and perform anti-money laundering (AML) checks in line with internal policies and EU regulations.</li>
<li>Monitor client risk profiles, maintain high-risk client and PEP registers.</li>
<li>Draft risk assessments and reports to support internal client acceptance procedures.</li>
<li>Liaise with the accounts and billing teams to support transactional investigations.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with onboarding processes for new clients and matters handled by the Brussels office.</li>
<li>Support audits, internal training, and regulatory reporting tasks.</li>
<li>Investigate and escalate suspicious activities to the appropriate stakeholders, including MLROs.</li>
</ul>
&nbsp;
Profile Required:
<ul>
<li>A significant&nbsp;experience&nbsp;in a KYC/AML role, ideally within an&nbsp;international law firm&nbsp;( 2 years would be minimum).</li>
<li>Fluent English&nbsp;(spoken and written); knowledge of&nbsp;French or Dutch&nbsp;is an asset.</li>
<li>Familiarity with reporting procedures to MLROs and a solid understanding of AML regulations in the EU.</li>
<li>Certified Anti Money Laundering qualification desirable (ACAMS/ICA etc.) is a plus.</li>
