A leading international business law firm advising public and private companies, financial institutions and governmental organisations is seeking a&nbsp;Business Development Manager to join its Private Equity practice in central Paris.
Working closely with the Private Equity BD leadership, the Paris BD team, Partners and Associates, you will play a central role in delivering the practice&rsquo;s business development strategy and supporting its continued growth in France and internationally.
You will contribute to high-impact, client-focused BD initiatives, ensuring strong coordination between local, regional and global priorities.
Key responsibilities :
&bull; Support the development and execution of the Private Equity business development strategy for the Paris practice, in line with the firm&rsquo;s wider client, sector and global priorities.
&bull; Contribute to the preparation and review of business plans, including measurable KPIs, timelines and regular monitoring of progress.
&bull; Support client development plans and identify cross-practice and cross-border opportunities in collaboration with Partners, client teams and sector BD colleagues.
&bull; Prepare tailored pitch materials, panel submissions and client proposals, working closely with lawyers and relevant pitch teams.
&bull; Use client, market, pipeline and CRM data to identify opportunities, track activity and provide clear reporting and insights to stakeholders.
&bull; Monitor competitor developments, client movements and market trends to help inform business development priorities and actions.
&bull; Collaborate with BD, marketing and shared services teams across the firm to ensure consistent delivery, effective use of tools and strong coordination across regions.
Profile required
&bull; Significant Business Development experience supporting Private Equity services within a law firm or professional services environment.
&bull; Strong understanding of Private Equity transactions, fund formation and market dynamics.
&bull; Proven experience working closely with Partners and senior stakeholders in an international environment.
&bull; Strong pitching, proposal writing, analytical and project management skills.
&bull; Excellent written and spoken French and English.
Salary and benefits
&bull; Salary of up to&nbsp;&euro;86,000 per year, depending on experience and profile

Business Development Manager - Private Equity - Law firm - Paris

EMEA Payroll Manager &ndash; Belgium-based
Our client is an international company with a strong European footprint. They are looking to hire an experienced EMEA Payroll Manager to join their team in Belgium.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role with ownership of payroll operations across several EMEA countries. You will play a key part in ensuring payroll is delivered accurately, on time and in line with local compliance requirements, while working closely with HR, Finance, local teams and external payroll providers.
&nbsp;
You will also guide and support a payroll specialist, helping to create a reliable, collaborative and efficient payroll function across the region.
The company is looking for a payroll expert who combines strong technical knowledge with a practical, solution-oriented mindset. This role would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, supporting others and staying close to the operational detail of international payroll.
Main Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Manage end-to-end payroll operations across multiple EMEA countries, ensuring accurate, compliant and timely payroll delivery.</li>
<li>Act as a key point of contact for payroll queries, escalations and issue resolution, while working closely with HR, Finance, local teams and external payroll providers.</li>
<li>Oversee payroll systems, data accuracy, payroll accounting, reconciliations, reporting and audit requirements.</li>
<li>Contribute to process improvements, standardisation and broader HR/payroll projects.</li>
</ul>
Profile:
<ul>
<li>Strong payroll experience, ideally in an international or multi-country environment.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with ADP is essential.</li>
<li>Good understanding of payroll compliance and HR processes.</li>
<li>Previous experience guiding, coaching or supporting payroll colleagues.</li>
<li>Fluency in English is essential.</li>
<li>Dutch would be a strong plus.</li>
</ul>
