Marketing & Events Manager – France

Paris | International Law Firm

Our client, a leading international law firm, is looking for a Marketing & Events Manager to lead marketing initiatives and client events for its French office.

Previous marketing, events or business development experience within a law firm is essential. Applications without law firm experience will not be considered.

Working closely with partners, lawyers and international marketing teams, you will translate global and regional priorities into effective campaigns for the French market.  This is a broad, hands- on role covering client events, marketing campaigns, sponsorships, digital content and brand visibility. It would suit a structured and proactive professional who understands how law firms operate and enjoys combining project planning with practical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead local marketing initiatives aligned with the firm’s client, sector and brand strategy.
  • Plan and deliver client events, seminars and conferences, from initial briefing through to follow-up.
  • Manage sponsorships, partnerships and opportunities to strengthen the firm’s visibility.
  • Adapt digital content and social media campaigns for the French market.
  • Work with partners and lawyers to support client engagement and local marketing priorities.
  • Analyse campaign, event and digital performance, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with regional and global teams to ensure consistent messaging and high-quality delivery.

Your Profile

  • Fluent French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven experience in marketing, events or business development within a law firm.
  • Practical experience delivering marketing campaigns, client events, sponsorships and visibility initiatives.
  • Confidence working with partners, lawyers, senior stakeholders and international teams.
  • Good digital marketing skills, including social media, content adaptation and marketing tools.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • An autonomous, proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of operational delivery.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary of up to €90,000 gross per annum, depending on experience.
  • Discretionary bonus of up to 10%, subject to eligibility and firm policy.
  • Profit-sharing scheme, subject to eligibility.

  • Executive status (forfait jours), with 12 RTT days per year, prorated where applicable.
  • Up to two days of remote working per week after six months, subject to approval.
  • One additional day off for your birthday.
  • Two additional days off during the firm’s Christmas / New Year closure.
