Chief Revenue Officer
Our client is a company combining AI, data analytics and deep sector expertise to help ocean industries operate more efficiently, strengthen compliance and support more sustainable decision-making.
They are looking to hire a Chief Revenue Officer to join the executive team and lead the next stage of their commercial development.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a central role in shaping international expansion, strengthening revenue performance and aligning commercial execution with the wider business strategy.
This is a high-impact role for a senior commercial leader who knows how to scale revenue in complex, technical and compliance-driven markets.
You will take ownership of the international go-to-market strategy across three verticals and help build the commercial infrastructure, market presence and leadership needed to support long-term growth.
Key responsibilities
- Define and lead the international go-to-market strategy across business verticals, supporting expansion into new markets and growth across existing ones
- Lead and develop the commercial organisation across sales, account management, revenue operations and tender activity
- Build the structure, discipline and processes required to scale effectively, including CRM rigour, forecasting and commercial visibility
- Support complex enterprise sales cycles, strategic client development and the acceleration of international tender activity
- Work closely with leadership, product and marketing teams to strengthen commercial positioning, drive performance and support wider growth initiatives, including partnerships and strategic expansion
Profile
- Significant senior commercial leadership experience in an international B2B environment
- Strong track record of opening and developing new international markets
- Experience selling complex, high-value solutions in technical or compliance-driven sectors
- Ability to operate as both strategic leader and hands-on commercial builder
- Experience scaling commercial infrastructure in a growth-stage environment
- Comfortable managing mixed sales motions and navigating long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Exposure to maritime, offshore, environmental, industrial tech or similarly regulated sectors would be a strong advantage
- Fluent English is essential; French would be a plus
