Business Development Manager – Field Sales | Paris

Are you an experienced Business Development or Field Sales professional who enjoys being out in the market, meeting prospects and developing new business face to face?

We are recruiting a Business Development Manager for an international company operating in the hospitality sector and currently developing its activities in France.

Based in Paris, this is a highly field-focused position.You will spend a significant part of your time meeting prospective customers, visiting businesses and identifying new commercial opportunities across Paris and the surrounding area.

Reporting to a Senior Manager and working closely with international teams, you will take ownership of the new business development cycle, from identifying and approaching prospects through to negotiation, closing and onboarding.

Your responsibilities

• Develop new business through a combination of field sales, cold calling and targeted prospecting
• Identify and approach potential customers across Paris and the surrounding area
• Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through to negotiation, closing and onboarding
• Build strong relationships with prospects and new customers
• Identify the most promising geographical areas, target accounts and commercial opportunities
• Work closely with international teams to support new customer launches and ongoing development
• Share local market feedback, competitor insights and commercial opportunities with the wider business
• Contribute to the company’s growth and development in the French market

Your profile

• Fluent French and English
• Previous experience in Business Development, Field Sales or B2B Sales, ideally within a fast-paced commercial environment
• Strong prospecting and new business development skills
• Confident approaching new prospects, generating opportunities and opening new accounts
• Comfortable managing a sales process from initial contact through to closing
• Enjoy working in the field and developing business through face-to-face interactions
• Commercial, proactive and results-oriented approach
• Able to work effectively within an international and evolving environment

• €40,000–€50,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience
