Euro London is recruiting for a German and English-speaking Servicetechniker / Field Service Engineer to join an international technology company specialising in advanced industrial manufacturing and precision production equipment.

This is a home-based role in Germany, ideally around Frankfurt, Stuttgart or another well-connected location, with regular travel across Germany, the DACH region and Europe.

This opportunity would suit a hands-on technical professional who enjoys working directly on complex machines, troubleshooting electro-mechanical issues and supporting customers on site. The company is looking for someone who wants to develop further within field service over time, learn new technologies and gradually take more responsibility for a customer base.

You will be part of an experienced European service team and report to the Customer Service Manager for Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Installing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing complex industrial machinery at customer sites
• Diagnosing electrical, mechanical and electro-mechanical issues
• Carrying out preventive maintenance, upgrades and technical adjustments
• Ensuring equipment is running at optimal performance
• Providing customer training and technical guidance during and after installations
• Preparing service documentation, work reports and coordinating spare parts when required
• Representing the company professionally while supporting customers across Germany and Europe

 The profile we are looking for:

We are looking for a practical, hands-on technical profile with a strong interest in field service and customer-facing work.

• Experience as a Servicetechniker, Field Service Engineer, Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, Installation Technician or similar
• A technical qualification, ideally a German apprenticeship / Ausbildung in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation, industrial maintenance or a related technical field
• Strong electrical or electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working on industrial machinery, production equipment, printers, automation systems or other complex technical equipment
• Previous experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair or technical support
• Fluency in German and good English, both spoken and written
• Strong customer-facing skills and a practical, solution-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel regularly across Germany, DACH and Europe

This role is best suited to someone who enjoys staying close to the machines, solving technical problems and developing their expertise within field service, rather than moving immediately into a management or back-office service role.
